Welcome to May, everyone. Don’t worry, I’m not going to be cringey and make a Justin Timberlake reference (seriously, guys, it’s getting so old).

May is pretty much the start of summer, at least where I live. We’ve had 90+ degree temps in the past week and it has been a struggle. I hate summer. I’ve mentioned that before, I know. But it’s seriously the worst. My hair is a mile thick and I like dark colors. Not a good combination for hot weather.

However, the good part about summer is that there is an insane amount of music coming out within the next few months. New material from Blink-182, Coldplay, Paramore and All Time Low, not to mention anyone who hasn’t officially announced anything yet (*cough* The Killers and Muse). Maybe, just maybe, this summer won’t suck so much after all.

Let’s kick off the season right with a great playlist. We just made it through a seriously crazy week for music, with seemingly every band across the globe releasing new songs. I’ve included the best of them along with some cool jams from people you’ve probably never heard of before. Notice that Fall Out Boy’s “Young and Menace” is not on this list.

Massive shade to Pete Wentz aside, here you go!
