MARCH. That’s a fun month. It’s both a month and a verb. It’s the only time of year when you get to drink Shamrock Shakes from McDonald’s and pretend to be Irish. It also holds a day most people desperately look forward to: the first day of spring.

I hate spring. It’s the worst. The snow melts and leaves behind brown slush and mud and the temperature gets warmer. Warm weather sucks. Am I alone on this? I’m alone on this, aren’t I.

Either way, there are some things to look forward to as spring approaches, like Easter. If you’re religious, obviously it’s an important day for you, but even if you’re not, you still get chocolate eggs, and who doesn’t love chocolate eggs?

But Easter is next month. I know this. However, it’s the only thing I’ve got to look forward to right now, so don’t ruin it for me.
