Last month, Lorde smashed back into music prominence with her hit single “Green Light.” Four years since her stunningly successful debut album Pure Heroine, Lorde is back with an intriguing song that cohesively blends together different musical styles to create something different for pop radio.
With her raspy, emotional vocals, Lorde’s “Green Light” is a good listen, but it may not be the best version of the song.
All Time Low took to BBC Radio 1 with their cover of the New Zealander’s new track, and to be honest, it’s pretty great. Lead singer Alex Gaskarth’s vocals, paired with the band’s pop-rock sound, results in a suitable remake that’s definitely worth a listen.
All Time Low are gearing up for their June 2nd release of their next album, Last Young Renegade, their first LP under Fueled By Ramen. You can preorder the album now on the band’s website.
